Q: How much do same day teeth cost in Hamilton?

The Same-Day Fixed Teeth pathway is £13,500 per arch, and Premium Guided Zirconia, which adds a custom surgical guide and zirconia teeth on a titanium bar, is £14,950 per arch. Both include the CT scan, 3D planning, routine extractions and grafting where required, the implants, the fixed provisional bridge and the final bridge. Both jaws are two arch fees, and IV sedation is £500 a session if you want it.

Q: Is All-on-4 the same as teeth in a day?

Not quite. All-on-4 describes how the bridge is held, on four implants with the back two angled, while teeth in a day describes when the fixed teeth go in. Many same-day cases are All-on-4, some need five or six implants, and an All-on-4 bridge can also be fitted after healing on our Healed Foundation or Staged pathways.

Q: Do I need a bone graft for same day teeth?

Often not, because angling the back implants lets many jaws avoid grafting, and routine grafting where it is needed is already in the Same-Day pathway fee. If your CT scan shows too little bone for the implants to be firm on the day, we would advise a staged approach rather than force same-day teeth. More extensive bone augmentation and sinus procedures are quoted separately.

Q: What can I eat after getting teeth in a day?

Soft food for the first few months: fish, eggs, pasta, soup and well-cooked vegetables, cut small and chewed gently. The temporary bridge is fixed, but the implants are still bonding to the bone, so hard, crunchy or very chewy food waits until your final bridge is fitted. We go through it with you before surgery and again at your reviews.

Q: Are same day teeth permanent?

The teeth fitted on the day are a fixed provisional bridge: you can't take it out, and it is made to see you through healing. After around three months, once the implants have bonded to the bone, a separate final bridge is fitted: acrylic / PMMA on the Same-Day pathway, or zirconia on a titanium bar on Premium Guided Zirconia.

Q: Can smokers have same day dental implants?

Smoking slows healing and makes implants less reliable, so heavy smokers are usually advised against full-arch treatment until they stop or cut right down. It also matters for the guarantee, which is a 5-year guarantee for non-smokers who attend hygiene visits every 3 months. We'll talk honestly about your own risk at the consultation.

Q: How long does the same day teeth appointment take?

Plan for most of the day. The surgery for one arch usually takes a few hours, and the fixed provisional bridge is fitted once it is ready, later the same day. If you have IV sedation, an adult needs to bring you in, wait for you and take you home.

Q: Can I be sedated for teeth in a day?

Yes. IV sedation is given by our sedation-trained clinicians, with a second trained team member monitoring you throughout, at £500 for the first session and £250 for each extra 30 minutes. You stay awake but deeply relaxed, and local anaesthetic numbs the mouth as usual.

Same day teeth means your implants go in and a fixed set of temporary teeth is screwed onto them before you go home, where your plan allows. What Same Day Teeth Means

Teeth in a day is fast and fixed, but it isn't a shortcut. The planning, the implants and the final bridge are the same as on any full-arch pathway; what changes is that you don't spend the healing months in a removable denture.

On the day, any failing teeth are removed and four to six MegaGen AnyRidge implants are placed in the same appointment. Once they are in, Dr Sharma checks how firmly each one is held. If they are stable enough, a fixed provisional acrylic bridge is screwed onto them later that day, so you leave with fixed teeth in a day rather than a gap or a plate.

That first bridge is not the finished article. The implants need around three months to bond with the bone, and while they do the provisional bridge does the work, on a soft diet. Your separate final bridge is fitted after healing. Poorly controlled diabetes or active gum disease. That is treated first

Several teeth worth saving. Keeping them usually wins

The Day Itself

Plan to be with us for most of the day. If you choose IV sedation, an adult needs to bring you in, wait and take you home.

Settling In

We go over the plan once more. If you're having sedation, it goes in first, then the mouth is numbed with local anaesthetic.

Extractions and Implants

Any remaining teeth are removed and four to six implants are placed where your CT plan put them, with routine grafting if it's needed.

Checking Stability

Dr Sharma measures how firmly the implants are held. This is the point at which same-day fixed teeth are confirmed. ¹

Fixed Teeth Fitted

Your provisional acrylic bridge is screwed onto the implants and the bite adjusted, then you go home with soft-food advice.

Around Three Months Later

Once the implants have bonded to the bone, your separate final bridge is made and fitted.

What Same Day Teeth Cost

The Same-Day Fixed Teeth pathway is one fixed fee per arch, agreed in writing before anything starts. ² It includes the assessment, CBCT scan and digital records, 3D implant planning, routine extractions, routine grafting where required, four to six implants, the fixed provisional bridge on the day where clinically suitable, a separate final acrylic / PMMA bridge after healing, routine reviews and the 5-year guarantee for non-smokers who attend hygiene visits every 3 months.

Sedation is added only if you want it, at £500 a session. Both jaws are two arch fees. Payment can be made in full or in staged payments through treatment, and interest-free finance through Chrysalis Finance is available where the fee fits the plan, shown beside each price.
