A smile makeover at Hamilton Smile Studios joins up treatments such as Invisalign, whitening, bonding, veneers and implants in one written plan. A common starting point, whitening plus six bonded teeth, is £2,350. Designing it on screen and trying it in your mouth cost nothing extra.

We use the smallest set that gets you the result, and put them in an order that protects your teeth.
Moves crowded, rotated or spaced teeth into line, so later work can be thinner or skipped altogether.
Lightens your own enamel before any bonding or porcelain is colour-matched to it.
Rebuilds chipped or worn edges and closes small spaces, usually without drilling.
For lasting changes of colour and shape, or teeth with a lot of old filling in them.
Protect teeth that are broken down or root treated, while matching the new shade.
Fill gaps left by missing teeth. They're planned on a CT scan at the outset, so nothing is missing from the final design.
Why sequence matters. Teeth are lined up first, because straight teeth need less material. Whitening follows, because composite and porcelain hold the colour they're made in and won't lighten with you later. Shaping comes last.

Whitening and bonding alone can be done in a few weeks. Aligners add several months, and implants need time to settle into the bone before the final teeth go on.

Digital smile design
Natural-looking teeth are rarely an accident. They come from planning that weighs up each tooth's length and outline, where the edges meet your lips, and how the whole smile fits the face around it.
In Hamilton we use digital smile design software, backed by a working knowledge of dental aesthetics and facial proportion. It means we can test ideas with you on screen, show you the reasoning behind each recommendation and agree a carefully reasoned plan before the work itself begins.
Most people find it hard to explain exactly what they'd alter about their smile, and harder again to imagine the outcome from a chat across the desk.
That's why we mock up the proposed changes digitally, on photographs of you. Different tooth shapes and proportions can be tried in turn, you tell us which ones feel right, and we adjust the design with you from there.
Maybe you'd like chipped or worn edges built back up, a smile that looks more even from left to right, or something more striking. Whatever the aim, it's an easier conversation when we can both see the choices.
His photoDigital previewThis is a digital preview, not a treatment result. Drag the handle to move between his own photograph and an AI-generated image of the planned design, which was made to help him picture it.
A digital preview is there to illustrate the proposed changes. What you end up with depends on two things: your clinical circumstances, and the treatment you agree with us.
Your teeth are never judged in isolation. The design is checked against your face as a whole, with these in mind.

Where your smile sits in relation to your eyes, nose and the centre line of your face.
The ratio of length to width in each tooth, and how it compares with the teeth either side.
Whether the line of your top teeth runs parallel to your lower lip as you smile.
The frame your gums give each tooth, and whether the gum margins look balanced.
Tiny differences in outline, surface texture and translucency, so the teeth have individuality rather than a uniform look.
Your say matters from start to finish. One person wants a brighter, crisper smile, another a quiet change that still looks familiar. The design is how we find out what suits you.

A smile design programme is only a tool. What makes it useful is combining three things: what you want, our examination of your teeth and gums, and well-established smile design principles. Appearance is one part. Your bite, the health of your mouth and which treatments are suitable for you count just as much.
Together, those decide our advice. Each suggested change needs a clear purpose and has to fit a plan that's yours, not a template.
When you've approved a design, everyone involved works to the same picture. We send it to the dental technicians so they know the shapes and proportions intended, and it keeps each stage of treatment heading in the same direction.
Working out these details early gives the treatment a more predictable footing. It also leaves room for your questions, for weighing up the alternatives and for feeling settled about the plan before anything is done.
Below are the seven stages a full makeover can involve. Plenty of people need only a few, and the order changes to suit your oral health, what you need and the plan we settle on.
Let us know what you'd alter and what you'd keep as it is. We'll examine your smile, explain the options open to you and give you an honest view of what may be achievable.
It starts with a conversation. We want to hear what you'd change about your smile if you could, and just as importantly, what you'd want left alone. After that comes a full check: the health of your teeth and gums, their position, your bite and your tooth colour, plus a close look at your face, its proportions and your lips, so we understand how the smile fits.
Depending on your case, we take photographs, short videos of you talking and smiling, a 3D iTero scan and, if there's a clinical reason, X-rays. These give us an accurate starting point to plan from. They're also how we show you what we've spotted, explain it and talk through the choices with you.
We cover each treatment that could help, setting out its benefits, risks and alternatives, and doing nothing is one of the options where that's reasonable. Your personalised written plan lists the fees, the likely timescale, the number of appointments and the care needed afterwards. Nobody will rush you, and questions are welcome before you decide.
When it's suitable, Dr Sharma draws the proposed smile on your own photos before any treatment, taking the lead from your features, the shape of your lips, the proportions of your teeth and your own taste. Seeing it lets you react and give us feedback, and the same design becomes the reference for our clinicians and the dental technicians. It may be fine-tuned as treatment progresses, because it sets out where we're heading rather than promising an exact outcome.
Gum disease, decay and any other oral health problems are put right before cosmetic or restorative work begins, since healthy teeth and gums are what everything else rests on. We'll show you how to keep them that way, both during treatment and long after.
Where teeth need moving, or the bite needs correcting, that's built into the order of treatment. Some people do well with orthodontics such as Invisalign first, and many don't need this step at all. Mapping out tooth positions together with the smile design shows us where each tooth should be before anything is restored.
Next we review your shade and discuss whitening if it would help. Where teeth need restoring, that might mean composite bonding, veneers or crowns, and gaps from missing teeth can be filled with implants or bridges. The agreed design sets the shape and proportions of every restoration and forms the brief for the technician. If suitable, you can wear a trial smile or temporaries first and judge the change for yourself before the finished restorations go in.
A makeover is priced from its parts. These are the fees you'll see in a plan, and the total is fixed in writing before you begin. 2
| Part of the plan | Fee |
|---|---|
| Home whitening on its own | £350 |
| Bonding, six teeth, whitening included | £2,350 |
| Bonding, ten teeth, whitening included | £3,950 |
| Porcelain veneers | From £695 a tooth; six from £4,170 |
| Invisalign | From £3,250, with retainers and whitening included |
| Single implant and crown | From £2,605, excluding any bone grafting |
| Digital design and try-in | No extra charge within a plan (from £250 and £250 if bought separately) |
Your plan gives one fixed total in writing before anything starts, and the stages are paid as the work is done.
It's free, apart from a £20 deposit that's refunded within 7 days of attending. We take your records, talk through what bothers you and tell you honestly whether a smaller treatment would do.
It's worth considering when two or more things about your smile bother you. If it's only one, a single treatment is usually enough.
Lined up with aligners, then whitened, so colour and position both improve.
Lost length rebuilt in bonding or porcelain, with a night guard to protect it.
Spaces closed and edges evened out as part of a single design.
Old crowns, fillings or veneers replaced to suit your new colour.
Implants planned alongside the cosmetic work, not bolted on afterwards.
Lengths and widths reworked to suit your lips and face.
