All-on-4 Cost in Scotland
Full-arch prices in Scotland vary by thousands, and a headline figure rarely tells you what you'll actually pay. Here's our fee broken down line by line, what moves a price up, and how to compare quotes fairly.
How Much Does All-on-4 Cost in Scotland?
At our Hamilton practice, All-on-4 costs £12,500 per arch with an acrylic bridge, rising to £15,000 for zirconia and £18,500 for zirconia on a titanium bar. Published prices across Scotland run from roughly £9,495 to £17,000 per arch, but most clinics don't say what's included. Ours covers the CT scan, extractions, every implant, temporary and permanent teeth, and first-year reviews.
The Going Rate Across Scotland
When we looked at what clinics publish online in 2026, fixed full-arch prices in Scotland started at about £9,495 per arch and climbed to around £17,000. Closer to home, the few Lanarkshire practices that list a figure sit between roughly £12,500 and £16,000. A handful of adverts go lower still.
The trouble is what those numbers leave out. Very few clinics itemise their fee. Some quote the implants without the bridge, or the bridge without the implants. Some leave out the scan, the extractions, the temporary teeth or the sedation. Two prices that look £3,000 apart can end up costing the same once everything is added, or the cheaper one can turn out dearer.
What Our Fee Covers
Our acrylic fee of £12,500 per arch includes all of this: 1

| Implants | Four, five or six MegaGen AnyRidge implants, the same fee whatever the number |
| Surgery | Guided placement with MegaGen's R2 system |
| Same-day teeth | A fixed temporary bridge on surgery day, where the bone allows 2 |
| Permanent bridge | Made from a digital scan about three months later |

Acrylic, Zirconia or Titanium Bar
The surgery, the implants and the temporary teeth are identical whatever you choose. The fee changes with the material of the permanent bridge:
| Permanent bridge | Per arch | In short |
|---|---|---|
| Acrylic on a reinforced frame | £12,500 | Light and easy to repair, but wears and may need renewing |
| Solid zirconia | £15,000 | Very hard, keeps its colour, low upkeep |
| Zirconia on a titanium bar | £18,500 | Strongest and most lifelike, suits heavy bites |
Acrylic costs less up front. Zirconia often costs less over the long run, because there's less to renew. Our bridge options guide compares them in detail.
Top and Bottom Together
Fees are per arch, so treating both jaws doubles them. Two acrylic arches come to £25,000. You can mix materials, say zirconia on top where it shows most and acrylic below, and the plan simply adds the two arch fees together.
Some people have both jaws done on the same day, under one sedation session. Others do one arch first and come back for the second when it suits them, which also spreads the cost. Dr Sharma will tell you whether your remaining teeth can safely wait.
What Can Push a Price Up
Our arch fee is fixed once your plan is agreed. These are the things that sit outside it, and that we'd always price in writing beforehand:
- IV sedation. Most full-arch patients choose it. It's £500 per session, plus £250 for each further 30 minutes.
- Bone grafting. The tilted back implants are designed to avoid it, but very thin bone sometimes needs building up, from £535.
- Gum disease treatment first. Infected gums elsewhere in the mouth need settling before surgery.
- Choosing a different bridge. Zirconia or a titanium bar in place of acrylic.
Elsewhere, look out for prices that change with the number of implants, separate charges for temporary teeth, or a scan billed on top. Ours doesn't, on any of those.
Why the Cheapest Quote Can Cost More
A low headline is tempting, and sometimes it's genuine. But in full-arch work the cheapest figure often hides a cost that turns up later:
- Missing pieces. If the temporary teeth, extractions or scan aren't included, they get added afterwards.
- A removable stopgap. Some low quotes give you a denture during healing, not fixed teeth.
- Lesser-known implants. If the brand isn't widely used, finding parts for repairs years later can be hard.
- No guide, no scan. Freehand surgery without CT planning raises the risk of an implant sitting in the wrong place.
- Thin aftercare. A guarantee is only as good as the follow-up behind it.
Fixing a failed or badly planned full arch nearly always costs more than doing it well the first time. Our guide on treatment abroad covers what we see when it goes wrong.
Comparing Quotes Fairly
If you're weighing up our price against another clinic in Glasgow, Lanarkshire or further afield, ask each one to put these in writing:
- Is the CT scan included?
- Are extractions included?
- Does the price change if I need five or six implants?
- Will I leave with fixed teeth on the day, and are they included?
- What is the permanent bridge made of, and is it in the price?
- What happens, and what does it cost, if an implant fails?
- Which implant brand do you use?
Line the answers up and you'll see the real price of each quote. For single implants, see our implant cost guide for Hamilton.
