Cookies on This Website
Updated October 2026. A plain explanation of the small files this site stores in your browser, and the choice you have over them.
The Short Version
A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. This site keeps the essential ones to a minimum, and advertising cookies are only switched on if you press Accept on the cookie bar.
| Type | What it does | When it is set |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so the bar doesn't keep reappearing | Always |
| Advertising (Google and Meta) | Tells us whether our adverts led someone to visit or book | Only after you press Accept |
| Other services | Booking, WhatsApp and maps | Only when you use them |
Advertising Cookies
If you accept, Google and Meta can place cookies that let us see which of our adverts are working. Google Analytics, which shows us how visitors use the site, works the same way: it only sets cookies after you press Accept, and until then Google receives no identifiers from your visit. Choosing Reject, or ignoring the bar, means they are not set, and the website works exactly the same either way.
Services Run by Other Companies
A few parts of the site hand you over to someone else. Online booking runs on the Dentally portal, the WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp and the map on our getting-here page comes from Google. Once you use one of these, it may set cookies under its own policy.
Changing Your Choice
To bring the cookie bar back, clear the stored data for this website in your browser settings and reload the page. You can also block cookies altogether in most browsers, although booking and maps may not work properly if you do.
