The Honest Bit
Aligners only work if you wear them, roughly 20 to 22 hours a day. Patients who leave them in a drawer are the ones whose treatment runs late.
Some bites are better treated with fixed braces, particularly where the jaws themselves are out of line. If that's you, we'll say so and refer you to an orthodontist rather than stretching aligners past what they do well.
And the simulation shows the target, not a guarantee. Results vary between people. 2
Fitting It Around a Working Week
Adults with full diaries make up a lot of our Invisalign list, so we keep visits short and few. Our hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, and until 7.30pm on Thursdays. Closed at weekends.
Scan and Simulation
A digital scan with no putty, then a look at how your teeth would move, stage by stage, before you commit to anything.
Aligners Fitted
Small tooth-coloured bumps are added to some teeth to give the aligners grip, and you head off with your first sets.
Brief Reviews
Quick progress checks at intervals Dr Sharma sets. We run late on Thursdays, so you needn't lose a morning at work.
Once They're Straight
Straightening often comes first, with a little finishing work afterwards.
